5 out of 5 stars This is the real deal. This Stuff Works!   August 6, 2006

I suffer from horrible back and neck pain due to being hit by a car while I was riding my bicycle when I was 20. My back and shoulder was broken and my neck was fractured and nerves were damaged. I am in pain 24/7 and I am told that my condition will remain until the rest of my days. I am 26 now and still was hoping to find something that would make this painful journey a little bit less painful. I have tried everything on the market from pain pills to all types of oozes and miracle cures. They all failed except for one. Biofreeze is the only thing that provides me with temporary relief so I could at least take a breath and not cry from the pain. You won't be disapointed I assure you.

5 out of 5 stars Works for more than pain - try this!   January 13, 2006

I've used for years and keep an ample supply at home and to share with friends! This products has done wonders to relieve the pain of bad back, carpal tunnel syndrome, and arthritis in the hands. BUT - what is really interesting, is when used on insect bites. Fire ant and mosquito bites are instantly relieved by a small amount applied to the bite site. The relief lasts for hours and seems to prevent further irritation and infection.

5 out of 5 stars BioFreeze...better than any other pain relieving gel on the market   October 17, 2006

I first got turned on to Biofreeze by my chiropractor. I was hesitant because pain releiving gels really irritate my sensitive skin. This not only didn't hurt me but it actually made me feel alot better. Since then it has become a staple in my house. My mother has used it consistently since a car accident caused her immense shoulder pain and my fiance has used it to soothe his ankle after fracturing it in three places. You can only get this on the internet, in massage supply stores or in doctors offices. Not many know about it but everybody should. It's a great product!

5 out of 5 stars Does what it says   May 29, 2006

This is a great product for muscular aches, pains, and spasms. The active ingredient is not ilex, although ilex is in the product. The active ingredient is menthol USP at 3.5%. Like a dozen other products with menthol there is cooling, a slight feeling of maybe heat, and a distration from the pain cycle while your nervous system is picking up the messages of the non pain stimuli. So the man with the other review complaining about this cycle is not technically wrong. But he is specifically wrong. If a product makes you unaware of the pain you have been in the product works. People spend thousands of dollars to install subcutaneous electrical stimulators that operate on that very principle. Unlike Tigers Balm, Icy Hot, or some of the great Chinese martial arts oils like Wan Hua oil, this is a gel that does not leave a stain on your clothes from waxes or oils or creams. I only use them when I am wearing sweats. At work I use biofreeze because it does not hurt my wardrobe.Try it. You will like it.

5 out of 5 stars BIOFREEZE Can't live without it - A must have for the medicine cabinet!!!   October 6, 2006

My chripractor and massage theripist recommended this to me for a problem with my back. It worked great. This product is now an indispensible item in our medicine cabinet. My husband uses it on his knee when it bothers him. I use it on my shoulder. We both use it on our backs. It works great when I have muscle spasms. When I feel a migraine coming on I'll put it on my neck and shoulders. It helps the muscles relax and then the migraine isn't as bad. I like the fact that you can apply it directly to just the area needed. Most of the time I don't need to take anything orally with it like ibuprofen, the BioFreeze is all I need. This product should be in everyone's medicince cabinet just like ibuprofen and bandages. Word of caution however; make sure you wash your hands throughly after applying the biofreeze since it tends to linger on your hands. I've ended up wiping it on my face a few times after using it thinking my hands were clean however I missed some of it.
